We have had some videos on Wellborn and a few of their lines that are offered. In case you missed the videos we went over Home Concepts the most cost effective line. It is limited in options but great costs American Made. We then trained on Select Series. This line has a lot of options available for your design and at a high All American made quality. Today let’s talk about the Wellborn’s Premier Series and Estate Overlay. This series offers many stylings of overlay door profiles, a large selection of semi customs and an extensive selection of finishes. The 5/8” solid hardwood dovetail drawers come standard with soft close drawer slides. Soft close door hinges also are standard.
The most popular door styles in this series is Bishop, Henlow and Davenport. Like other series Glacier white and your gray, blue tones are very popular now. In this series of Wellborn we offer the Color Inspire program. Color Inspire offers a broad selection of colors from Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore and Valspar. This program lets you get creative and show your personality. With Wellborn Inset door styles there will be a 3/32” reveal around the doors. This is important to have consistent reveal. A lot of local companies will promise you consistently but never get it right.
In Premier and Estate series you can find full overlay doors for the clean look, traditional overlay doors for the classic design and inset doors that can come with a bead option or a non-bead option. Construction wise is still of the highest integrity. The sides of the cabinet box is ½” natural maple wood grain laminated furniture board end panels. In case you don’t remember furniture board is a press board that has water resistant perafin wax resin. It will hold up better to water than plywood. The face frames are ¾” 1 ¾” kiln dried solid wood face frames. Mortised and tenoned stapled and glued.
All finishes will have the 24 step wellguard fininshing system applied. This includes hand sanding, 3 coats of catalyzed sealer, oven cured finishes twice and a UV drying station. An important note all your sides will come natural maple. So if a side of your cabinet is exposed so people can see it, you need to add a skin to match color. As always with Wellborn you receive a vertically integrated manufacture. They control the process from the log to your door. 99.8% of orders delivered complete and on time.
One of the great options in Premier Series is called U Draw It. Get creative and design a cabinet on paper, fill out the form and send it in for approval. If approved they will build it for you. Custom by creation. Also in Premier you can modify your sizes by the ¼” increments.
